“We care about what happens after launch, because that is where commerce systems prove whether they actually work.”

Audit & Advisory - Bluemint
Audit & Advisory

Strategy you can act on.

Audits for new platforms. Advisory for long-term partners. Takeovers for what someone else built.

Three modes

Three ways we engage.

Different shapes for different moments in the partnership.

  1. 01

    Audits

Scoped 2-4 week engagements. Platform assessment, risk and technical-debt review, written report with prioritised actions. Best for replatform decisions, second opinions, or planning before any major build.

  2. 02

    Advisory

Ongoing strategic partnership for clients we work with. Proactive suggestions, feature planning, second-opinion conversations. Woven into the long-term relationship, not a separate engagement.

  3. 03

    Takeovers

Audit + stabilisation for stacks we did not build. We assess, fix urgent issues, then transition into long-term operations. The way most clients arrive at Bluemint. See the takeover process.

What's different

How our strategy work pays off.

  1. 01

    Audits that produce action.

We assess your current stack, identify risk, technical debt, and growth blockers. You get a written report with a prioritised action list and an honest assessment of the work involved.

  2. 02

    Platform calls from experience.

We have worked Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, Norce, Crystallize, Medusa, and more. We pick the platform that fits your operation, not the one we'd like to build.

  3. 03

    Honest about scope.

We tell you when a small fix is enough and when a replatform is the right call. Same as we'd tell you when a takeover beats a rebuild.

  4. 04

Strategy + execution under one roof.

FAQ

Common questions.

  • What does a typical engagement look like?

Two to four weeks of audit, interviews, and platform / code review. You get a written assessment with a prioritised list of work and recommendations on technology, sequencing, and budget.

  • Do you only do strategy?

No. Strategy is usually the first phase of a larger engagement. We are a build-and-operate team; strategy is how we decide what to build. See our commerce, custom apps, and integrations work.

If the strategy recommends building, we can build. If it recommends staying put, we say so.

  • Will you recommend competitors?

Yes, when they fit better. We have sent clients to Magento specialists, headless agencies, and Adobe Commerce Cloud partners when the work did not match our shape. Honest assessment is the whole point of an audit.

  • Can the audit be a fixed price?

Usually yes. Most audits scope cleanly into a fixed-fee engagement once we know the size of the system. Larger or murkier systems may need a small discovery phase first to scope the full audit accurately.

  • Do you do ongoing advisory for existing clients?

Yes. For clients we already work with, we run an ongoing strategic conversation: proactive suggestions, feature planning, second-opinion calls. Less formal than an audit, and integrated into the long-term partnership rather than scoped as a separate engagement.

  • What is a takeover?

An audit-led process for inheriting someone else's stack. We assess, stabilise the urgent issues, optimise where it matters, and then operate it long-term. Most clients arrive through this door. See the takeover process.
