“We care about what happens after launch, because that is where commerce systems prove whether they actually work.”

How we work - Bluemint
Bluemint

How we work.

From first conversation to long-term operation. Same team across all phases. Honest about scope. Built to operate, not just to deliver.

Principles

Four things we hold to.

  1. 01

    Same team across all phases.

Discovery, build, operate. Same people. No handoffs to a 'delivery team' you have never met.

  2. 02

    Long-term ownership.

Most engagements continue past launch. We are built to operate, not to deliver and disappear.

  3. 03

    Honest about scope.

We tell you when a small fix is enough and when a replatform is the right call. We don't sell work you don't need.

  4. 04

    Discovery before decisions.

We don't quote a Magento build because Magento is what we do. We quote what fits your operation.

Process

Four phases.

Our work does not end at launch. We stay close to the systems we build so they can keep improving as the business changes.

  1. 01

    Discovery (1–2 weeks)

Interviews with stakeholders and the people who will actually use the system. Audit of what exists, if there is something to audit. Mapping workflows and integration points. You get a written brief with scope, sequence, and a budget range.

FAQ

Common questions.

  • Do you do fixed-fee projects?

Yes for well-scoped phases: audits, MVP builds, focused integrations, takeovers. Larger or murkier projects start with a fixed-fee discovery, then we scope the build from what we found. We don't quote vague time-and-materials for unbounded scope.

  • How do projects usually start?

First conversation by call or email. We listen, ask questions, and tell you honestly whether we are a fit. If we are not, we will point you at who is.

02

Decision (1 week)

Platform recommendation, architecture choices, integration plan, budget. A written document you can act on, whether or not we end up doing the build.

  • 03

    Build (4–24 weeks)

Iterative delivery with weekly demos. Integrations connected as the work needs them. Production deploy and team training before we declare it live.

  • 04

    Operate (ongoing)

Most engagements transition into support and maintenance. The same team that built it keeps running it.

  • What happens after launch?

Most engagements transition into ongoing support, maintenance, and hosting. The team stays. No handover to an account manager you have not met.

  • Can you take over what someone else built?

Yes, that is a large share of our work. See our takeover process: audit first, stabilise, then operate.
