Every Magento 2.4 version has an end-of-support date. After that there are no security patches, and modules, PHP and the database drift out of step. We upgrade Magento and Adobe Commerce to a supported version and keep it up to date afterwards.
An upgrade is more than a new version number. PHP, database, search engine, modules and integrations must move in the right order. We analyse the current setup, upgrade a copy of your store, test checkout and integrations, and deploy only when everything works.

Usually not. You can go straight to the target version, but PHP, database, search, modules and custom code must support it.
The store keeps running, but without security patches. Over time modules and payment providers drop support, and PCI compliance gets harder.
Yes. We start with a code and module review, then plan the upgrade.
ERP and payment integrations are always tested as part of the upgrade. We have delivered ERP integrations with Business Central, Fortnox and Visma.net.
